The garden view room provided a great experience with plenty of space. Enjoyed breakfast that was generous and fresh. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home, even providing a toy bin for my child. Although having a bar and dinner option at the hotel was convenient, the limited dinner hours might be an issue for some. The decor felt somewhat tired inside, needing a bit of updating. the outside could use some rejuvenation to match the lovely atmosphere indoors. a unique place in beautiful Donegal, perfect for a cozy family getaway.

Dining with a stunning view
Woke up to stunning views of the Glengesh Pass. The breakfast offered a delightful experience with fresh ingredients, and dinner by the fireplace was pure magic.
The shower pressure was lacking during my stay, which was a small inconvenience in an otherwise enjoyable experience.

The character of the place is striking. it truly feels steeped in history, with creaky floors and charming old doors adding to the ambiance. The gardens are a standout feature, offering serene spots to relax amidst beautiful stone walls and arches.
The outside of the house could use some attention—it's not as inviting as one might hope. Some rooms have issues like soft beds that might not suit everyone and occasional disappointments with the shower water pressure. It can also get a bit dark on the approach at night, making it a less-than-ideal walk back to the house in winter.
